Working with Us

Zachary is a graduate of Salisbury University with a degree in Finance. After graduation, he became a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch, where he built his practice before launching SCO Wealth Management in the spring of 2020. Zachary has been named a recipient of the Five Star Wealth Manager* award in 2024. SCO Wealth Management has been recognized on the 2026 Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams** list.
Outside the office, Zach is very involved in the local community. He and his wife, Nicole, serve on the board of The Sparrow Fund, a nonprofit organization that supports families in foster care and adoption as well as those who provide care for vulnerable children. Some of Zach’s favorite hobbies include spending time outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He is also an avid Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles fan!

Before launching his own independent practice, Tom built a diverse group of clients during his time with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Tom graduated from Towson University with a degree in Economics and then went on to receive his Masters in Personal Financial Planning (MPAS®) from the College of Financial Planning. He also holds several other certifications, including CFP®, and CRPS®. Tom has been named a recipient of the Five Star Wealth Manager award in 2024 and SCO Wealth Management has been recognized on the 2026 Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams list.
Outside the office, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife, Caitlin, and their sons, Jonathan, and Emmett. Tom likes to stay active; some of his favorite hobbies include golfing, snowboarding, and skeet shooting. He is also very passionate about music and enjoys playing the guitar and drums.

Mike began his career with Merrill Lynch in 1988 after graduating from Loyola University with a degree in Finance. Throughout his career, Mike has had the privilege of working with some incredible clients and their families. One of the greatest things Mike loves about what he does is building strong, trustworthy relationships with his clients to the point where they become more than just a valued client, but a family friend for years to come.
In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his friends and family on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Some of his favorite hobbies include boating on Chesapeake Bay, fishing, and waterfowl hunting. Mike is also a fan of the Baltimore Ravens.

Spencer’s contributions give our clients confidence knowing their accounts are properly maintained. Before joining SCO Wealth Management, Spencer worked as a Financial Services Representative and Financial Solutions Advisor at Merrill Lynch. In 2018, Spencer graduated from Salisbury University with degrees in Accounting and Finance, though he does not currently offer accounting services. SCO Wealth Management has been recognized on the 2026 Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams* list.
Outside the office, Spencer is very involved in his community. He is a Younglife Leader, an organization that provides mentoring and outreach to local high school students. Spencer loves to be outside and stay active; some of his favorite hobbies include surfing, fishing, and hiking.

Sarah entered the financial industry on the banking side with Eastern Savings Bank and Bank of America. Sarah then spent 15 years serving ultra-high net worth clients as a Senior Client Associate with WMS Partners and a year with Marshall Financial Group as a Client Service Administrator. Sarah joined SCO Wealth Management in fall of 2024 as a Client Associate. Sarah holds an Associate’s Degree in English from Community College of Baltimore County. SCO Wealth Management has been recognized on the 2026 Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams list.
Sarah’s life motto that she tries to live by is “You can always get more money; you can’t always get more memories.” Focusing on living in the moment, spending time with loved ones, saying YES to adventures and new experiences whenever possible.
Outside of office, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, James, and her sons, Alex and Colin. Sarah volunteers in the children’s ministry at her church. She greatly enjoys serving in the Pre-K classroom and having a positive impact on the next generation. She also volunteers at her sons’ elementary school whenever the chance arises. The staff at this school has been such a blessing to her family since they moved to the area in 2019, she feels that it is an honor to serve in any way that supports the wellbeing of the students and staff. Sarah loves photography and she can often be found on the sidelines of her sons’ sports games with her camera in hand capturing the action. She says that she “finds herself drawn to capturing the everyday moments in life that make up our days”. Some of her favorite pictures are the candid ones snapped of her family and loved ones enjoying life and living in the moment.
